About Stephen Diamond

Over the last 3 years while studying BSc Multimedia at Swansea Institute I have gained many skills that I believe have help me develop over the course of the degree.

Having spent 3 years around industry software and languages I feel I have the ability to put together a range of projects using my knowledge of XHTML, CSS, Flash, Actionscript, PHP and Director/Lingo. Other areas, such as Javascript will need work on but this is something I'm willing to acknowledge and work on in the future. Other areas that interest me (with regard to my studies) are the usability and contextual aspects of projects and how people interact but also what they take away from that interaction. Another area I'm currently looking into is mobile development and hope to be improving on work I have already started.

Evidence of these skills can already been seen, however I am very keen to further these skills at every opportunity and in my spare time I often keep an eye out for articles related to my study to maintain that I stay on top of what is happening.

I have also been luckily enough to have the opportunity to implement my skills within the work environment at Swansea Timber & Plywood. This is covered further in my CV and in the Projects area, but working in this environment has allowed me to communicate ideas to people who have little understanding about my area but also work as a team to build various task/projects that the set for me.
